The Accommodation
When you stay at Ty
Gwyn, you’ll certainly
know which country you are
in! As throughout the house,
there are a few clues
reminding
you of the beauty and spirit of
Wales and
her people with each
bedroom
lightly reflecting
the works of Welsh writers.
Dylan Room
Named after our famous
literary boyo, this
is a favourite with
many of our guests –
there’s no consensus
as to why. Maybe it’s
the Gothic window
providing the ambience,
the sense of space
or the fabulous mural
adorning the entire
bathroom wall.
Your
comfort is high on
the agenda in Dylan’s
room with a huge
king sized bed and
a sofa to relax on.
Antique pine,
and even a rocking chair to
relax in.
Cordell Suite
A large room located in
the oldest part of
the house – with its
original beams,
18th century doorway
and dips in the floor –
no, it’s not you or
that
extra glass of wine!
Double and single bed.
Cosy en-suite
shower room off the private hallway. |

Vaughan Room
A standard size room but
big on charm and
cosiness. Recently
refurbished throughout,
it has a comfortable
double bed boasting an
exquisitely ornate
headboard. The view
looks out onto
Ty Gwyn’s
pretty garden and
up into the fields and hills beyond.
Garden Room
Just like it says on the tin! Enjoy a
hearty Welsh breakfast - with homemade
and local produce - overlooking the colourful
garden and patio area.
If there’s a curious sound in the room - it could
be Pete tuning his tonsils (comes from being
a member of the local Male Voice Choir). But
it’s just as likely to be the proverbial babbling
of the brook which runs right under the house
and is the subject of much debate!
The Garden Room also has some comfy chairs
to lounge in; so after a hectic day’s activities
take a few moments to relax, unwind and enjoy
the views!
